Meet Our Entertainers: Isabel!

This week I am introducing you to one of our wonderful entertainers, Isabel! Isabel can often be seen entertaining for Puddles as a fairy, at home parties and at many more of our Puddles childrens parties.

How long have you been working for Puddles? I have been working for Puddles for a year and a half now, and I love it! Time flies when you’re having fun.

What do you do outside of entertaining at Puddles childrens parties? Outside of working for Puddles I am currently training to be an actor in musical theatre at Mountview, with lots of the other Puddles kids parties entertainers.

What is your favourite thing about working for Puddles? My favourite part of working for Puddles is getting to dress up as all of the wonderful characters and tell their story to the kids before we go looking for treasure. It’s so lovely seeing their faces light up with excitement!

What is your favourite memory from a birthday party you've entertained at? There was once a little girl at a fairy party who kept coming back to me to have her face painted again and again. By the end of the party she was covered in patterns all over her face and down both her arms - she loved it! Also, the artist in me was delighted to get creative and make her feel like a beautiful fairy.

What is your favourite party game? Musical statues has to be my favourite party game! I love getting my groove on and having fun dancing with the kids whilst they bust their own moves. - I’m always amazed by some of the dance moves they come up with!

What was your dream job growing up? I’ve always wanted to perform and entertain. Any job where I can affect other people and have fun while doing so is a dream!

If you could have any super power, what would it be? That’s a tough one!! I think I’d choose the ability to teleport anywhere in the world at the click of my fingers. That’d be awesome. Especially living in the city - to be able to suddenly be on a beach in Hawaii after a long day would be paradise!

Describe yourself in 5 words. Outgoing, artistic, trustworthy, patient, compassionate.

I hope this has helped you get to know Isabel much better! Come back next week for another exciting Puddles blog. The summer months are coming, and our kids parties are going to be busy!
